The Founding of CCNK (창단식)

We take great pleasure in announcing the formation of Canadians Caring About North Koreans (CCNK) as of November 27 th , 2016. 
We are a group of enthusiastic people concerned about the human rights of North Koreans, with the following goals.

1. Increasing awareness of North Korean human rights issues. We believe that if more people are aware of the human rights situation in North Korea, the conditions for North Koreans could be improved. We host events to raise public consciousness about the status and progress of North Korean human rights.

2. Supporting other groups who care about North Korean human rights, and participate in their activities

a. Cooperating in promoting the passage of a bill in Canada addressing North Korean human rights.

We are independent of all political groups and we focus on only human rights issues.
